ISA question

Wingingitbestican · 23/04/2025 11:45

I have an isa that is due to mature in July this year. I was looking at opening a new easy access isa , can I do that now and then do a transfer of the fixed one in July, or do you have to do the transfer straight away. Thanks

As long as you have not exceede the £20:000 limit you can open one now. When your other one matures you transfer it then.

It depends on the terms of the ISA, some limit the period for transfers. So check carefully before you decide.
