@BotpottyYes it looks like someone has come along and said ‘you’ve copied us. We’ve been around longer so you’ve got to change. We have the money to pursue this further’.
It’s not surprising that it’s a crowded market as patches have had a bit of a wellness moment and loads of iffy companies want to exploit the menopause, so there are bound to be other identical products out there. They may not be going out of business right now but this is an expensive mistake and patches surely have to be a bit of a wellness fad. I therefore don’t see how they will be able to sell enough of their other patches to be able to ride out this mistake. How long before some other company with a patch for something else senses blood and decides to have a go at them for that? After all they’ve shared their weakness on social media. I guess these are the sort of potential problems that await bots outside MLM if they assume their brand of entrepreneurship is transferable.
They are holding their hands up to a lack of due diligence and I wonder if this is yet another example of misplaced confidence after some “success” in an MLM? Bringing a product to market to sell to retailers or real customers is absolutely not part of the knowledge or skills in Forever Living. Being sold a product that has little interest outside a scheme and being told to use it to attract people to sign up with absolutely no control over the products is a very different thing. This is probably a fatal blow for them.
