I have a simple will where everything is left to my dd until she reaches a certain age. Mo mention of any trustees in my will. Dd will soon become joint executor too. My question is where would my money go until dd reached the age she could inherit?

What do you mean left to her until she reaches a certain age?

I believe that the executors of your will would choose a trustee (or trustees).

your Dd can’t be an executor until she is 18 anyway.

Usually executors also act as trustees. What exactly is the wording?

@Iwilladmit sorry should I said when she reaches a certain age.
Will just names an executor but I am going to add dd as an executor too now she’s nearly 20

how does that work with her being an executor if she’s can access the money until she’s older?

You can write a will that states the beneficiaries need to be a certain age before they receive their inheritance, but you can’t enforce it.
If your DD is 20 currently and you drop dead tomorrow, how will she be able to look after herself if you withhold money from her?
