I get paid tomorrow instead of Monday next week due to the bank holiday. Would you keep the money aside till Monday or spend straight away Tomorrow ? It will be 34 days till I’m paid again if I spend straight away

Save it until your usual pay day.

You do what you do at Christmas when you get paid early - pay your big bills first regardless and then work out what your daily/weekly spends look like from there. If you want to 'preload' and have a blast over the Bank Holiday then go for it, but it does mean that you'll have a leaner daily/weekly budget for the remainder of the month.

Save it till usual pay day. I used to do the same at Christmas when my employer paid the 23rd December every year. I remember my colleagues who didn't moaning about not having money mid January so I've always been very strict with myself on this rule.

I’ve never been paid early for Christmas, my last job was 4 weekly and was there 11 years and this one I get paid 21st each month

I think it’s worse because it’s a full bank holiday weekend and I could go out and splash the cash 😂

Oh interesting, most people I know get paid early at Christmas time. Just get your big bills done first and I am sure you will be fine!
