has anyone tried this, selling on Insta and TikTok? I’m tempted to give it a go but it’s £400 start up costs.

It’s usually a scam. Their passive income source is you buying the course. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Selling stuff for other people to sell to people to sell to people? I know someone who does this and I don't think she's made any money since she started last year. Her posts sound increasingly desperate and just remind me of MLM "bossbabe" posts. I would steer well clear.

The courses are scams, you can find all the information - and better - online and through chatgpt. If you want to give it a go I’d try that way first and see how you go. My feed is littered with the faceless accounts claiming they’ve made thousands in a week, but with a tiny follower count - I’d take it all with a pinch of salt.

Of course there are some who are very successful, but they’re normally in the minority (I’d say less than 5%) and it’s normally a mix of luck and more creativity than the norm.

ChatGPT will give you the whole strategy and do the research and help you get started for free

Thank you, I’ll try chatGPT and give it a go for free. I’m not expecting much but if it doesn’t cost me anything I’ll have a bash. Thank you

Anyonr tried asking ChatGPT for this, the info is a bit vague. Not enough to get started unless I’m asking the wrong things.

I did a course recently and felt totally lost on local vs general SEO stuff. This post helped me a lot: https://crowdo.net/blog/seo-vs-geo-2025/. It breaks down the differences in plain English and helped me rethink how I was targeting people for my Etsy shop. I'd been spending way too much time with broad keywords and missing local traffic completely.
