Anyone else experienced this? I’ve added a message to journal but not heard back yet.

basically I’ve realised our payment for this month is £800 more than we usually get. I’ve realised that they haven’t taken my partners earnings off our allowance. This is probably because the people he works for have been taken over by another company after going bust and there’s been a mess up somewhere.

the payment is due on Monday, however I believe it will probably be early due to Easter.

can I just ring them up and pay them back or will it be taken back in instalments?

tia ☺️

Go on your journal and report. If it gets paid keep the money aside as they will take it back.

Annoyingly, they will take it off future payments in deductions. So keep it aside to supplement the shortfall you'll get in future payments. Message them on the journal with the correct info, keep it all in writing.

I’ve had this and they will take back in installments.
