Scottish Teachers Maternity Pay

Hi,
I’m thinking about having baby no.4. I’m a teacher in Scotland at the top of the pay scale and can’t work out (not a maths teacher, clearly!) how much I would get for mat pay. Can anyone give me actually figures (if you don’t mind) as to what I would receive at each stage.

I am the main breadwinner so a bit worried about the gap in earnings but don’t want to regret not having another.

thank you!

Do you have a HR dept? Could you ask them for a breakdown? Also is it not in your maternity policies internally? Different employers offer different maternity pays. NHS for example is 8 weeks full occupational pay, some places are more or less etc etc.

It's three months of your usual pay, then 6 months at smp (£187 per week) and then the final three months it is nothing. I am also a teacher in Scotland.
