Hello, i wonder if you could shed some light on a csa concern. I had made a application with the csa 9 days ago for my recently ex husband to start paying monthly towards his daughter, 2 days ago he texts me furious as he says he has had a letter from csa stating he owes 12,000 in arrears!! My claim was put in only a matter of days ago and surely there are no arrears as he has not started paying yet. it cannot be backdated payments either, now my ex husband cannot tell the truth and has lied continuosly to save his ass. I am due to call the Csa monday as i am very suspicous of what he is hiding. 12000 must be from somewhere else?

Could it be a case of mistaken identity- same name/DOB something like that? I imagine you will find out more when you call them

Ah. I was hoping for the best. I hope you've had constructive talks with CSA today

csa have said on their records it only showed one child which is my daughter..however she did confirm that for arrears to happen especially £12000 and 40% then this would not be the case from a fresh claim that he has not starting paying for!! she said definitley not this claim. Csa stated for him to say arrears etc then he must have another case possibly with the court and that would make sense as it would not show on their system. My ex this morning would not answer the question on where the arrears and 40% come from...his teply it does not matter as things are sorting and not to mention it to csa either as i would cost him alot of money?? i do not know where to go now as he is hiding something.
