Hi,
We're 2 pensioners aged 75 76 yrs old.

We've being asked from the Manchester council housing benefit asking us to review our claim for housing benefit. It's called housing benefit full review accuracy.

We sent in bank statements, they also asked for a letter from a old historical bank account either it's closed or send bank account statement.
It was closed 2006..

They said someone had reported us for working.. Yes working...
Not declaring monies we earned.

I was laughing because of I didn't if cry.
Where, by and q, they take elderly people on.

We think it was my sister...

How can they do this knowing we are not working.

Only 6 months ago sister was giving me a drill.
Are you working. Do you get cash in hand.
What you doing???
I went what you talking about.. I'm now working.

I'm too old for all that. Plus if I had been I'd have told the council charge of circumstances.

Can't believe people can be so cruel and nasty. Just to see you upset.

What do you think.

I think this will all be wrapped up once you send your paperwork in.

Do you get on with your sister?

It will be ok, I'd break off the relationship with your sister though, no one needs a sister like that.

Just send them your paperwork, job done.
Nothing to get stressed about.
