Junior Investment Account ( adult now)

What happens to these accounts if the account continues to be in the parents name?

Do you mean a child trust fund or Junior ISA? If so this becomes the child's account at 18. They will be given options to withdraw or reinvest in their own name.

It just says junior investment account.

It's not a child trust fund account.
