Are you claiming everything you can OP? I realised that no one tells you hat you’re entitled to, I had to stumble across it myself. It’s so difficult financially and they don’t make it easy.

Yes Op, I agree with PP - We claim everything and it covers one wage so one of us doesn't have to work.

We're not living in luxury but we get by.

This isnt my personal situatio but The people i know honestly dont seem to be (ie i dont see any material change in standard of living, weekly shop, clothes / gifts, days out, holidays etc

The benefits are unusually fairy generous once you claim and access full entitlememt

But the people i know IRL are couples rather than single mums which makes things easier financially and emotionally...
