Help to save - final bonus

Hi, I have saved £2400 into my help to save account and should have been receiving my final bonus by feb 14th, last payment was 27th jan which brought it to 2400 and the account closes on 31st jan. I have logged in today and it says I won't be receiving my final bonus?? I don't understand how this has been calculated/decided when I have paid the max amount every month?? They are closed today so I cannot call for advice. Anybody know why they are saying this and is it a mistake?

Also how can the amount be higher than 2400 when the max you can pay in per month is £50?

I think it is closure thing, I've seen similar posts and I'm sure mine was the same when it ended.
The bonus, and funds, then get paid out.

Thank you. I think you are right as have just read some similar threads myself. Nearly had a heart attack when I signed in and read £0!! I will give it until the 14th feb before calling, should hopefully receive by then.

Hope you get your bonus.. I'm only one year into saving for mine... I'm curious to know what you'll spend it on 🤣 hope that ain't too nosey! I'm undecided what I'll spend mine on come the time to withdraw the focus bonus at 2 years...

I hope so too as I booked a holiday and used my credit card so was relying on the £600 to pay off some of the cc.

I'm sure you'll get it. You paid the maximum into it so that makes you eligible for the bonus... Enjoy your holiday 😊

I didn't realise the bonus goes into your bank account after the first 2 years.. It doesn't get attached to the saved figure then all paid out at the end. So I have 600 sat there tempting me to spend it!!

Try and resist the temptation!

Don't panic, I thought the same last month when mine matured last month. It also came through a few days before the date it said it would.

Just to update the thread, I have received confirmation from HMRC that I will receive the £600 bonus and my £2400 savings will also be paid back out to me by the 14 feb 🎉
