CCJ - Judgment for Claimant in default

long story but i owed money to a funeral director. My mums estate has gone into probate in ireland and (i now know) it will take years and unlike UK, I can't use her money in ireland to cover funeral in England.

So i have had to find the money myself.

They made a county claim against me in September, I managed to pay the majority (about 60%) but disputed the exact final amount as they'd added on around £500 in costs.

I heard nothing for months, and have just got a letter saying 'you must pay the claimant £xxxx'

I have now paid this amount in full, yesterday.

The funeral director emailed to say they'd received payment, and said the entry will be cancelled from the register as I have paid within the 30 days

It also says this on the letter - but says I need to contact the court.

I have tried to do this but waited nearly 2 hours and couldn't get through!

I am not 100% if this is a ccj or if that would be the next steps as front of letter says 'if you do not respond to this the claimant could request a county court judgement against you'
