Two weeks til we exchange and complete on a house sale and our mortgage expired ( solicitors couldn't care less and have been so slow! ). We have applied for a new one and nothing has changed with our pay, jobs, circumstances, no sick pay, slightly more on each payslip. Can I just check as we are so close now that the lender will likely renew our offer? I know the rates have dropped so surely that helps? I'm just so desperate to get to the end of this after a year of moving and conveyancer stress! Thanks all

I work in mortgages and do lots of extensions to offers. The main issue is when people have taken out a ton of credit post offer and it is no longer deemed affordable. If you haven't done anything like this then I wouldn't worry

Yes as long as no large credit since applying and no additional negative inputs on your credit report then it will likely be fine.
