Credit card question

Does anyone know much about credit cards. I paid some money onto my credit card at midnight, I needed to use it again today and it said it would take 6 hours to be available but still isn't available today. Does the 6 hours not include overnight? I needed to use it today

Normally they seem more or less immediate but my cards are with the same bank as current account.

It's a capital one credit card so not linked to bank unfortunately

The one I had that wasn’t linked to my bank account used to take 3-5 days to reflect in the balance
