Self assessment - Help

Hi

I'm not sure whether I need to do a self assessment or not. I'm hoping someone can help please

My P60 has two figures,
"In this employment" - (pay) £50134.50 (tax deducted) £9246
"Total for year" - (pay) £50134.50 (tax deducted) £9246
I've been making pension contributions which don't seem to have been reflected in the above?

Can anyone advise?

Hi, it depends on the type of pension. What’s your gross salary (plus any bonus) and what percentage do you pay into your pension?

Looking at the figures you provided also suggests to me that you have taxable benefits, like a company car, being applied to your tax code. Or some sort of prior year clawback?
