ExH doesn't pay any child maintenance

I have 2DC with EXH who has them every other weekend. I went via CMS and they declared that he didn't need to pay anything because he doesn't work (lives with and scrounges off his mum, who's happy to oblige). I don't think that there's anything I can do, is there?

No there isn't. And there's a special place in hell for deadbeat dads like that.

I know right @AmandaHoldensLips. I'd never withhold my DC from seeing him as they love him and he does make a bit of an effort most of the time they go to be fun, but it's like what the fuck, how do you not see that you have to contribute to their growing up? Like how is it possible that the whole financial responsibility is on me?

Sadly, OP, you are not alone. My ex contributed nothing once we were divorced - I told the judge that whatever he awarded was all I’d get, and he said oh no, the CMS will sort out maintenance. My ex ran rings round them, and (as I had predicted) I never got another penny.

I had the same words from a judge

'That's down to the csa to enforce'

He told the csa he 'wasn't paying a fucking penny,that silly bitch will spend it on herself'

They agreed and I never saw any money

He still goes round telling everyone I spent his money on myself

He was sat on his sun lounger,in a 5* hotel,his new car sat waiting for him on his drive when he took that call

I hope he ends up in hell

If he genuinely doesn't work then they can't extract any money from him.
