Hi everyone
Please can anyone advise? (My friend asked me for help but ive no idea ) Her family are trying to book holiday insurance for two trips this year. She can book a multi trip insurance which is great but shes not sure how much cancellation cover she should select for two trips. Does she just add them together then divide...or?
One trip is £2500 and the other is about £8500.

It's a mystery to me 🫣

Is it not cheaper / easier to get annual cover ??

That's what we're trying to do (1 year). We've declared the country to visit and the drop down asks us to choose the amount of cancelation cover? A few choices are £1500, £2000, £2500 or £3000. Does this chosen amount cover both trips?

You need to check if that is per claim or total over the year.

Look at the policy wording, but the amount should be per person per trip

I'll definitely read the small print 😊

With ours the quoted amount is a per person per trip amount. So take most expensive trip, divide by people that's the top amount she needs.

That might not be quite right. 2k cancellation cover could be per person

So, she has US trip 9k then France 4K. It's for a family for 4. So 3k per person maybe?
