Despite being in my fifties I love scrolling TikTok. Then today I wondered how come there lovely people are spending time doing videos for me. As it turns out you can get paid for it!
does anyone here get TikTok income? Is it easy? Genuinely intrigued

It's not necessarily 'easy' for most people - it requires a knowledge of what people want to watch and creating captivating content, coming up with 'fresh' ideas that are popular or jumping on new trends quickly. They know how to tap into their 'market' and make content that their followers consistently want to see.

It also requires a 'look' - lots of influencers are very good looking/spend lots of time on their appearance.

TikTok pays some through a 'creator fund' but from what I can tell it doesn't pay very well. TikTok does this because they want influencers to post their videos on TikTok first - not other platforms. TikTok then makes more money from adverts because there are more viewers on the site. Most influencers make more money from brand deals - so will show certain products in their videos and get paid for it (because some of the viewers will buy the products after they see the influencers using it).
