Does anyone actually make money off Vinted

I've been using Vinted for a few months now, mainly selling my DD's clothes she's grown out of. I spend a lot of time sorting through, organising and taking nice photos, uploading them to only make a couple of pounds if that, I'm starting to think is it really worth it. Originally I planned to use the money to buy her the next size up in clothes, with what I make I'm lucky if I can buy her a pack of socks

I've done maybe £300 last year. Didn't sell loads but only really sold things that go for £5/10.
Nike kids tracksuits. NEXT kids jeans/ coats. River island also sells well.

I don't bother with things like t shirts, pj's and things under £5 as quite honestly it's too much faff.

Try selling things in a bundle that's how I sell faster

I don’t bother selling on it. I do I buy a fair bit but really only willing to spend 10-30 % of original purchase price dependent on condition

Probably depends what you sell, I only buy occasion clothes for kids on there as I can buy the day to day stuff just as cheap in supermarkets once you add postage on. Decent adult clothes I’m happy to pay more for though

I started in November and I’ve made £300 so far selling my old clothes. It was mainly my winter clothes and my nicer going out bits with velvet and sequins which sold as it was all in time for Christmas.

I’ve just uploaded another huge batch today, I’ve set myself a resolution to make £1000 on there this year as I have so much I need to declutter. I have a lot of summer stuff that needs to go up but won’t bother until it gets warmer as I feel like it won’t sell.

Made £550 so far, selling kids clothes for £3 to £8 each- use the Evri digital codes and recycled packaging so I don't pay to wrap things up and don't have to print labels- worth it for me!

I've made about £300 but a lot of that was higher cost things from Whistles, and nice heeled boots.

Still selling bits n bobs, it all adds up as I've got a bad Vinted habit myself.

I think it is useful for when you buy something expensive and regret it later. At least you don’t end up wasting all your money. Otherwise, for lower cost items it is too much faff for me. I like buying on it though and have saved in that sense.
