UC query re sickness

If I go off work sick for 6 weeks but I get full pay from work do I still have to tell UC about this even though my money will remain the same

I'm going to say yes as it's a change of circs and you should send them a copy of your fit note.

Rationale for that is that if you end up off sick for a lot longer you'll have a peg in the ground for the Work Capability Assessment and the wait period for extra money in UC if you were found to have limited capability for work related activity.

I will add you don't need to send the sick note but do report the change to health and add the dates on the nite when asked.
