Hi everyone!
Who do you insure with and why did you choose them? Anything to watch out for? And tips etc?
TIA

I always use a couple of comparison sites plus directline and then go with the cheapest quote from a company that I’ve heard of and that has a good defaqto(?) rating. (And includes all the types of cover that I want)

Same as @Sequentially

I think, until you have to claim for something, it is not really possible to know which company would be best. So we just use comparison sites to come up with best prices, then compare details and plump for the best price for the same thing.

Buildings or contents? Buildings is determined by construction type. If atypical or thatched, it can be difficult to find an insurer. Contents is done according to whether you have anything unusual or of value. Again, certain insurers provide a better service and level of cover.
