Credit card

I have a credit card but I’ve lost it. I need to use it today. I know it’s definitely in my house so don’t want to cancel it or anything as then I won’t have access to it (absolutely no chance that someone has taken it I’ve just misplaced it) if I add it to my “Apple wallet” can I use my phone to pay for things? Or are there limits on amounts etc and is it only accepted in certain places? (I don’t usually use my phone to pay for things hence asking) or does it just act like a regular card..? Ty

I suspect if you have the card details you probably can add it.

My OH had her card cancelled after fraudulent use and as soon as new one was authorised her phone updated. That was Google rather than Apple but I suspect the principle is the same.

I've done this with Google wallet. If you know the card details and the cvv I think you'll be fine.
