Hi, my oldest child has now got a full time job so I just have my 16 year old who will get Universal Credit as they are at full time college. Anybody got any idea how much we would be able to claim?

I am a single parent and work full time, earning £21,000.

Many thanks in advance.

It will depend if you rent or not, claim any other benefits etc

Does your 16 year old live with you? I thought under 18s could only get UC in special circumstances such as being estranged
