I have credit card debt of about £6000. I start a new job in the new year and could work out paying them down but they are both on high interest rates. I always pay the monthly costs but obviously it's going nowhere with the high interest. I keep trying to find 0% cards but they aren't keen on a single parent with 3 kids 😬
I found one via experian which charges 0% for 7 months and a 3% fee. If I go for it I could have halved the outstanding in 7 months. Then it goes to a huge interest rate (it's the post office I think).

It seems a hard way to pay it off but I need to do something it's just deeply ironic that the good value cards are only available to the people who don't need them 🤣

Just want any tips or tricks to hopefully get accepted for this one, as I seem to get the 80% acceptance message and then fail despite doing ok and having a decent enough salary...

It's actually Capital One, PO is the next one down. Hopeful I'll find something to help me start paying this lot off asap.
