Maternity leave

I’m due to go on maternity leave in February . Does anyone know if I decide not to return to the business if I will be asked to pay back the enhanced maternity pay boots provide for 14 weeks and also what the minimum time I would need to return to the business for (looking to go back for 4 weeks and hand in my notice) to avoid having to re pay this?

It varies by business usually, you'd need to check your employee handbook

You need to check your contract and maternity policy - it will be company specific.

If needed, you could use unpaid parental as part of your notice period and/or annual leave, which will accrue during your maternity leave. It's worth taking a full year, so you accrue maximum.
