Tax credits award declaration form return address

Hi everyone as we are now in the process of migrating to UC and our tax credits have ended we have received a Tax credits award declaration form to fill in and return however the return addressed envelope that should be in with the form isn’t there. Have called them all day to ask for the form return address however haven’t been able to get through. Been unsuccessful looking online too!

my local tax credit office address is on the letter with the form does anyone know if it just goes back to them or if its another address? The form is the ‘Tax credits award declaration’ TC603UD.. if anyone knows this address or a similar form with the correct return address that would be great. Thanks in advance ❤️

I had exactly the same problem a few weeks ago. In the end I decided to send it to the address shown on the letter. I sent it recorded delivery so I would have proof I had submitted it.

I figured they should be capable of forwarding it on, and the worst that could happen would be a delay in them dealing with it. Anyway, as far as I can see, there are no severe consequences for not returning it promptly.

It must have reached the right destination quickly, as some money appeared in my bank account soon after I submitted it, with a Tax Credits reference against it. (I knew we were due some extra money as my self-employed DH had earned less than forecast.) I haven't yet received any paperwork showing the calculation, but then our post is often severely delayed, so that's no surprise.

Oh wow thank you for the reply!
Yes we will send it to the address on the letter and hope for the best 😁 it’s things like this that really stress me out, especially when it’s impossible to get through on the phone or find any info online!

I am glad you managed to get it sent off in the end and I agree sending by recorded delivery is very wise in this situation.. definitely going to do this.

Thank you for your time in writing back to me I certainly feel a lot more at ease about it. ❤️
