I have recently switched banks then realised I needed to return an item to Asda online so it went back on my old card. I was told it would be fine as the money automatically will be sent to my new bank.
Anyway it's been 8 days since the refund was processed and I am being passed back and forth. Does anyone know who is technically responsible? To me it's the bank as they have a switch guarantee which assures you that money incorrectly going to your old bank is forwarded on. Instead them are telling me to go back to Asda to request the refund is recalled. Asda are saying it went through fine
