I got asked this morning and was panicking if it was legit or not! Think I hit on debit instead of bank giro but they say it doesn’t matter as I rang them . Must be a new thing!

Who are they?

Who are they amd what was it you were trying to do?

Ccarl2788 · 14/11/2024 19:18

Nationwide… they are confirming peoples details for anti fraud measures. Apparently everyone will get the notification upon sign in eventually

Do you mean when you signed into online banking? They usually say they will not ask you details over the phone. They should know your details if they are your bank!

You didn't click on a link on an email did you?

If you are worried call the fraud number that is on the back of your debit card.

Thanks. No was onto nationwide and it’s completely legit ! It’s something everyone will have to do apparently!
