Can anyone help me with a universal credit calculation please?

I'm about to go from a single claim to a joint claim

This is my statement now as a single parent.

Dp works full time and his pay is £1300 fortnightly, can anyone work out what uc we will receive when we go to a joint claim.

I get dla for my dd and pip for myself too thanks

It will be best for you to use one of the online benefit calculators.

I've been told to not use one as they are not accurate

It will give you a better idea than we can as you know your personal circumstances.

Try one of the Facebook groups as they can do it. I agree those calculations can be inaccurate.

I think it will go down to approx £1140/month.

Partners net earnings = £2812.67 less the work allowance of £404 is £2412.67.

55% taper means MaxUC will be reduced by £1326.96.

That's averaged across a year, as his pay is based on weeks not months it'll vary a bit.
