Maternity allowance help

Hi,
I have been receiving maternity allowance since January 2024, getting £364 every 2 weeks, but on the 21st October 2024 I only received £26.29. I have tried to ring them but haven't been able to get through. Can anyone tell me why this is?

It's only paid for 39 weeks isn't it so you're not due anymore

Your allowance is now at its end.

It's a common misconception because you have the right to 12 months Maternity Leave but with both SMP and Maternity Allowance the last 3 months is unpaid.

Ok I wasn't too sure, because I haven't had like any letters update from them to let me know anything. Thank you for your help

Yeah it’s because it has run out, they don’t notify you as it is only ever for 39 weeks
