Hi I’m just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this please. So I was made redundant on maternity leave and then started to claim jobseekers. I’ve just had a job confirm they would like to hire me but with references ect it could take up to 2 months to actually start working. Am I still eligible for jobseekers?

Yes, you get JSA paid up until you start your new job. If you tell them your start date at your next meeting they work out how much more you will get, then you get a letter saying it's stopped.

You may though be pressured to see if there's other work, casual stuff etc, you can do in the meantime.
