Hello sorry to bother you all. Just wondering if anyone has any quick money making ideas? I'm in my last electric and gas. I'm on my emergency credit already. I've had an advance from my electric and gas company so I cant get another one until 23rd of october.
I get my universal credit next Friday.
I'm really struggling. I cant go without electricity or gas with 4 children. Myself can go without but they cant
Just asking if anyone has any quck money making ideas.

EBay is free to sell now, Vinted too but you'll have to wait for your money.

Could you get in touch with your local council to see if they have any funds or maybe an emergency fund or even a food bank some of those can supply gas and electricity vouchers.

You could always try your energy supplier again and explain the situation and maybe they'll offer further assistance.

You need to look at the wider picture. Unless this is a one off it's only going to get harder over winter as your bills increase.

Have a look at Moneysavingexpert.com for signposting to help from the energy companies, a benefit check and other ideas about how to make your money go further by increasing your income and/or cutting costs where possible.

Ask the family liaison officer at the school, they tend to have voucher cards for this sort of thing. Call in to see her/him this morning.

If you are looking to sell for cash then Facebook marketplace place is great.

What about asking for work on a local Facebook group for work that fits around what you do? There are survey sites online but none of this pay particularly well and any really good ones have waiting lists.

Money saving expert has lots of information on things like bank switching but that’s not instant payment and can effect your credit if you are looking to borrow in the near future.

If you are struggling for food there might be local churches , food banks, food pantries that can help

Have you tried
