Hi

i wanted to get advise on children’s savings. We have around £15k in a children’s savings account but want to move the money now for a better rate. We have already maxed out on JISA this year. Is there anything stopping us from moving some of his funds into a normal ISA?

If you mean into an Isa in the child’s name, no unless they are 16 or over in which they can have both a Jisa and a cash isa. If you mean can you put it into your isa, yes. But then it won’t be in the child’s name.
