Voluntary Contributions to the Spanish Social Security System to qualify for their State Pension?

Hi all,

I left Spain having worked there for 13 years. To qualify for their state pension you need to have worked a minimum of 15 years in Spain. I'm back working in the UK.

Does anyone know whether it is possible to make voluntary contributions for the 2 years I'm missing so that i'd qualify for their minimum pension? I'm 62 so not yet at retirement age in either country, just trying to get things in order.

Thanks :o)

Might be a question for an ex-pat forum rather than here?
