We are selling my grandmother's property, she passed away late last year.
She was in a home for the last few months of her life, and got funding towards the end, we have appealed that she should have been eligible for it sooner.
The sale is going through this week however we have been told we will not get the money straight away due to this appeal.
Has anyone got any experience of this - we are happy to settle the care home bill (£3k) while the appeal is ongoing.
