Second UC review in 2 months

I manage my DD claim - she gets enhanced PiP and LCWRA. She is not able to deal with any of this herself due to SEN.

She had a UC review in August 2024 - all my bank statements as money goes in my account. Claim was fine, payments continued.
Now there’s another appointment on her UC journal for a UC ‘claim review UCR agent only’ - does anyone know what this means ? And why 2 reviews within 2 months ?

It’s so stressful for carers 😞

I don't know why there is a second review and I think that you should ask for an explanation. I wonder if this might be an error.

Op I hope it's a mistake this underlines the constant hoops claimants have to jump through not to mention the stress, anxiety involved.
It gets to me when people think benefit is an easy ride as we know it certainly isn't.
Could a charity help you?.we got help from Cfine,it's a food bank but also have other departments one of which is helping people navigate the benefits system.

Can you get her a bank account in her name, have her benefits paid into it, pay directly for things from her account, and transfer any living expenses to you?

Sometimes they conduct a review to see if there's any fraud going on.

I also have a disabled young person who receives PIP and LCWRA. His UC goes into his account and I have third party access so am able to manage his money.

He’s had one review after his savings went down dramatically (I was waiting for his DP contribution to be calculated and knew it would be a large amount to be back payed). They asked for an in person review with all the bank statements and suspended his payments. After a bit of back and forth I managed to get them to change this to an online review which was quickly done and payments restated.

i would try and separate her money from yours so her savings/capital amount can be tracked separately.
