nhs pay progression

Good morning,
My NHS pay progression date was September 5th 2024. this will be 2 years in my new role. my question is I don't appear to have any change in my salary. will this reflect in October or should it be part paid in September

Do you have to have worked a full number of years by a certain date or is it exactly 2 calendar years?

Also how do you know when your salary increases when you don't get paid until Wednesday?

Plus even if your salary has gone up, the cutoff for payroll is probably before the 5th, which would mean you don't actually see the money until the end of October.
