Section 75 on secondhand car

Long shot I know. My sister bought a secondhand car in November last year and I paid for it on my credit card. It was over £10k. Less than two months later, it developed an issue with the transmission and as it was under warranty she took it back to the garage who turned the engine light off, but the car never really worked as it should.

She barely uses it as she works abroad however less than 2000 miles after she bought it the transmission has completely failed and it is going to cost £3k to have a new transmission fitted as confirmed by a main dealer.

Car is basically unusable and the garage she bought it from are saying it is out of warranty and so it is not their problem.

Clearly it has had a transmission problem all along and the original garage botched it up enough to get her to take it away.

Would we have any chance with the credit card company? Obviously not for a refund but to get the problem fixed?
