Pip auto renew?

Hello my pip award ends mid October and I've still had no letter to renew the claim. Last year they sent me a letter saying if it hadn't be reviewed then they would auto renew for one year which they've done. That's now coming to an end and I'm wondering if the same thing is likely to happen again? Should I be ringing them asking what's going on? Or wait for a letter? I don't want to miss out on renewing claim but I've received nothing from them

Anecdotally there are still delays in doing reviews.

I'd expect them to get a review form out any time now if they're up to date but if they're struggling with new assessments I'd not be surprised if you got another extension.

Ok thank you. Are the backlogs still ongoing?? That's horrendous, it's been like this for a good few years

I would ring and ask….heard some stories of pip stopping and claimants saying that when they rang they were told forms had been sent….but they hadn’t received…..don’t phone on a Monday….or in the morning….and it should be a 45 minute hold maximum
