hey,

money has been an issue for the last 2 years due to our mortgage going up massively and general COL. about 6 months ago we had a lm unexpected bill of 1500 that I couldn’t pay. Dh gets very stressed so I admit that I didn’t tell him. My mum lent me the money and I paid the bill. I now pay mum back each month. I never told duly but have started to feel deceitful. Should I fess up?

Nah I'd just leave it now. Continue to pay the debt and move on.

Why?
My cat was hit by a car and the vet bill was £750. She was over 18 and my DH, not an animal lover, would have thought I was crazy to put the cat through the operation. Anyhoo borrowed the money from my sister and never told him. It had nothing to do with him and would have just caused friction so felt no need. As long as you are paying your mum back just leave it.
