PIP REVIEW

My dh was last awarded PIP in April 2022 for 3 years. In the award letter he was informed that they wouldn't review his claim till after April 2024, I expected this as I'm aware they can ask you to complete a review approx a year before the award end date and this has happened in the past. However, we still haven't received a review form and I wondered if anyone else is experiencing the same thing? I phoned PIP today and was told there is a backlog and I should have asked how long it is but I forgot and I can't face phoning again and holding on for ages. Has anyone else experienced a delay with the review form and how long were you waiting? Thanks

Even when you send it back it can take up to a year currently for them to look at it ! I currently have a client and we sent the form back in July 2023 and they ahve just had a decision letter ! The whole system is a mess.

There are serious backlogs within the PIP system. As the pp said, it is a mess, and needs looking at, imo.

I got sent my review form 6 months before the end of the award (which was 4 months ago haven’t heard anything yet)

Wow, I didn't think the backlog would be so long, I'll stop dreading the post everyday, as it sounds like we may be waiting a while yet! Thanks to everyone for the replies.
