We submitted our claim today for UC after needing to migrate over from tax credits. After a while of going back and forth we managed to verify our I.D etc
Does anyone know how long roughly it will take before we can apply for an advance. I am self employed with not much of an income as building the business and hubby works full time. His wages cover our bills mostly and we used our weekly tax credit payment to cover our main food shop each week. So a little worried how we are going to manage five weeks while we wait.
