Hi there

does anyone know if I can claim adult disability payment for myself if I claim carers allowance for my child?

As long as the reasons you are claiming PIP don't contradict the care you give to your child I think it is usually considered fine.

Yes you can.

DLA / PIP / ADP are claimable even if you work, and you can claim them along side other benefits like carers allowance or UC.

Hi good morning. Just wondered if anyone could shed some light, I received a payment in to my account on Friday which when calculated made up 3 weeks worth of carers allowance. Will I now be paid this regularly? I don’t have a letter confirming I’ve been awarded. Tbh I actually forgot I had applied as this was back in June.
