Import charges/VAT confusion

I've seen something I want to buy on Etsy.
I live in the UK seller is in Asia.
The cost of the items is under £135 but the VAT pushes it slightly over.
Does that mean I will get charged additional import fees & VAT on delivery?
I honestly can't work it out (I've got ADHD and struggle with this sort of stuff)

Ask for an extra £2 discount if possible, you’ll pay import duties if it’s over £135

Duties are calculated first. Your purchase is less £135 so you will not pay duties. You will however pay Vat.

Come on, now I'm really confused! Grin

Sorry if I confused you!

The Tax they are charging you is the Vat. You will not pay duties because the amount relevant for duties is £114.
