Just wondering if anyone knows anything about carer allowance and UC
my friend has made a claim for carers allowance as her mum is on pip and she is doing alot of care for her at the moment but her mum is on UC as well as pip and she is worried it may effect her universal credit if her daughter receives C/A ?
but am I right it only effects the person who is actually claiming C/A and not the person being cared for ? I can’t find anything regarding this weather her mums money will reduce now she is a carer or weather it will stay the same
