Recently bought trainers from Sports Direct. Initially chose their finance partner Frasers Plus to checkout so I could pay in 3 however their app was rubbish and froze without completing the transaction so I paid the full amount via Sports Direct website.
I am now being chased for payment by Frasers Plus. I sent them all the evidence that I had paid Sports Direct directly but they are saying that Sports Direct have to cancel the transaction on their end before Frasers can cancel the debt.
Sports Direct are telling me to contact Frasers to sort it out 😖.
Neither have a phone number (that I can find) so this is all being dragged out at a snail's pace via email (with different CS reps each time who are not reading the email chain and invoice I've attached) and I am getting nowhere.
Do you think I would be able to sort it in store at Sports Direct if I brought all the evidence?
It's only £40 so I could just pay the amount again to avoid negative effect on my credit rating but am very reluctant to do that.
Can anyone advise?
