Has anyone switched to Octopus? Using a link saves you £50 but when did you get the money or credit?

I'm happy enough with Octopus but haven't fixed for a while as prices have been a bit volatile

My daughter moved to octopus can't remember when £50 came through but their intelligent tariff has saved them loads.
