Csa payments

My partner pays his ex wife CSA for his son.

He turned 18 in September 23

He left college on 28th June 24.

His results are August 24.

He goes away to live at university in September 24.

How do we find out when his last payment will be? Is there anybody we need to be telling or do we keep paying until we're told otherwise.

we did report a change on the CSA website but his ex wife denied the change unfortunately.

We want to give the money directly to his son when he is at university so it helps him. We're moving house and we're trying to sort out finances but we're unsure if we should be reporting the above dates etc.

Any advice is welcomed.

Child benefit ceases at the beginning of september, so I would go with that.

If you paying under an agreement with cms then your last payment is the September 1st one.

@socks1107

My payment date is 1st.

If I pay on 1st September - technically my son won't be living with my ex wife - he will be at uni?

Do I just stop or do they inform me?

You pay in arrears so 1st September will be Augusts money. So you must make this then you can stop paying the mum
