Hello,
I am on uc and have been asked to attend a telephone compliance interview due to not declaring the correct capital.
can anyone advise what this means as to me capital would mean savings, investments or property which I do not have!
As you can imagine I’m extremely stressed about this after googling what a compliance interview is.
Thank you

Second house?

Equity in a house you do not live in?

More than 6k in a current account?

Carla2021 · 23/06/2024 18:44

No! None of this! I have what is in my bank account to my name and that is it!
My daughter is 18 and recently got accepted for a student loan and the. I received this message on my journal, would that be a reason or just coincidence?

Does she have her own bank account? Any other accounts that you use? I've seen on a couple forums (reddit) that they even ask for paypal statements now

Carla2021 · 23/06/2024 18:52

She has her own bank account yes.
no I have my own bank account with very little in, my own PayPal which I can’t remember the last time I used.
Can they do these checks ect randomly or make mistakes?
